Back in school, I was often called "lazy but talented." Over the years, I realized I wasn't lazy; I just needed to focus on what I love. When faced with tasks I don’t enjoy, my "laziness" motivates me to optimize.
I also discovered that I wasn't inherently "talented," which drove me to continually up-skill and remain curious. I learned to teach myself.
I'm good at pattern recognition and recall. As a huge geek who uses a lot of software and hardware, my curiosity drives me to research beyond my immediate interests. But most of the days I try not to reinvent the wheel.
Every professional journey I started began with me feeling unprepared. Despite being thrown into chaotic situations, I always managed to somehow navigate my way and deliver results. I don't shy away from tough conversations, and I believe that staying humble and honest has been key to my career and life. I hope to never let arrogance get in the way of serving others and doing my job well.
People tell me that I am easy to work with and a good collaborator. I build relationships and trust with colleagues, and we often share excitement and fun while building products together.
I always try to do what's right rather than just what is easy, aspiring to be the person I hope to become.
I primarily design and make music. I can also code. A little.
